Who is conducting this survey?
Bike Safe Streets is an independent, community-led project focused on understanding how people use cycling and active transportation infrastructure and where improvements may be needed.
Why are we collecting this information?
We want to understand:
- where people currently ride
- where people would like to ride
- what cycling infrastructure works well
- where connections are missing
- where people experience safety concerns
- what improvements could make cycling more practical and accessible
What will happen with the results?
Responses will be analyzed in aggregate and may be used to create maps, summaries and a public report.
Findings will be shared with municipalities, transportation planners, elected officials, cycling organizations, community groups and the public to help inform discussions about active transportation infrastructure.
Privacy
Individual responses will not be publicly attributed to respondents without their permission.
If respondents provide a name or email address, this information will only be used for the purpose they explicitly agree to, such as receiving project updates.
We’re grateful to community organizations, cycling groups and local businesses that help support the initiative, share the survey with their communities, or contribute resources.
Supporting organizations may help promote or contribute to the project but do not necessarily administer the survey or independently endorse every finding. Bike Safe Streets is responsible for the survey and analysis.
